Badalona, a famous wine-producing area
Mas-Ram is a quiet residential neighbourhood that’s located next to the town of Tiana within the city of Badalona. It is located in a famous wine-producing area and surrounded by the beautiful landscapes of the Barcelona/Maresme coast. There are many services and facilities in this area including the Mas Ram sports club with its tennis and padel tennis courts, swimming pools, sports hall, gym, entertainment room and restaurant.
This neighbourhood has seen an increase in the level of investment from national and international buyers who want a high standard of living and proximity with Barcelona. In addition to all the other reasons for why this is a great area in which to live, there are many other aspects, including its proximity with the Montigalá commercial district that features stores like Carrefour, Mercadona, Ikea, Decathlon and Leroy Merlin. There is also the Can Ruti University Hospital nearby. Additionally it is easy to travel to the cities of Badalona, Barcelona and others via the extensive bus network, or the Ronda de Dalt towards the international airport of El Prat.
On the other hand, Badalona has the third-largest population in Catalonia, and the 22nd highest in Spain. Due to its location of the coast of Barcelona, between the seaside and mountains, it has an excellent, temperate Mediterranean climate all-year-round, allowing its inhabitants to enjoy 5km of beach and coastline, and recently-constructed marina to the fullest.
Badalona and the sports
Badalona is a city committed to sports. Along with the Joventut Badalona, it boasts a number of other sports teams including the Badalona Swimming Club, the American football team the Dracs, and the centennial Football Club. It is no wonder that there are many sports facilities in the area to, such as the Olympic Pavilion, sports halls with climate-controlled swimming pools, gyms, and several parks equipped for the skaters who come to visit from all across Europe.
Badalona is within the metropolitan area of Barcelona and as such, it is perfectly connected to the city via its countless public transport modes. These include the buses, trams, two metro lines, trains, and the Nacional II (which leads towards Madrid, Barcelona and France). Lastly, it is only 20 minute away by car on the Ronda Litoral to the international airport of El Prat.
